Conformity of Production

What is it?

Conformity of Production is the ability to produce a series of products which conform to the specification, performance and marking requirements in the type approval document.

The following CoP arrangements must be made:

1. To verify that before an approval is issued, there are robust controls in place to ensure all products produced conform to the approved type.

2. To monitor at regular intervals during the life of the approval the effectiveness of the controls in place.
