On November 5th 2008 MG UK held a bonfire night at Longbridge. Staff members, friends and family were invited to buy tickets with the proceeds going to charity. This year over £1000.00 in donations was raised at the event.

This money will be donated to the charity of Billie Jayne Fulford, a brave 13 year old who has suffered osteosarcoma - a very rare form of cancer in her right hip. Billie has since had her right leg and hip removed. Billie is a local girl and attended the bonfire party with her family; she was thrilled by the news that the money raised would be donated to her charity.

On Thursday 20th November Billie Jayne and her Mother, Jenny Fulford came to the MG Headquarters at Longbridge to collect her donation.

Jenny Fulford, Billie's mother said “Thank you to MG for their generosity; we’re chuffed to get this cheque.”
