The classic mid-engined rear wheel drive layout delivers superb road holding and accurate, responsive steering thanks to near 50:50 weight distribution between the front and the rear wheels. In short, great handling and great acceleration together with great feedback and turn-in through challenging bends.
And that's all before suspension is taken into account. The race-proven design with independent front suspension and multi-link rear ends gives added control on acute cambers, keeping the wheel upright. The result is that more of the tyre stays in contact with more of the road for added grip. What's more, the compliant suspension set-up means that long distance comfort and refinement never compromises sports handling.
